Living a healthy and active lifestyle means taking your favorite activities home with you. You should be active 3-7 times a week depending on how intense your activity is and how long it takes to perform. Some activities you can do are listed below and vary in intensity and time.
Walking (1/2 mile - 2miles) everyday.
Walk/Jog (1/2 mile - 2miles) everyday.
Jog/Run or Run 1 mile or more 3 times a week.
Hike or Run any trail at Bernheim Forrest. (admission is free except on weekends)
Ride your Bike 1 mile or more everyday around your neighborhood or area.
Remember to wear your Helmet!
Play any sport or activity with a group of friends or siblings.
Swim at your local community pool or designated swimming facility.
Go to the local YMCA and work out your Cardiovascular Endurance, Muscular Strength, or Muscular Endurance on some of their great machines.
Lift weights and work out at Home.
